So, you have heard of the u3a, but what is it?
If you are semi-retired or retired and have more time to engage with other like-minded individuals, to continue learning, or discover a new hobby, Bolsover District u3a may be what you’re looking for. We have a range of interest groups, some of which we hope you like.
As a member we encourage new interesting groups, others will want to join. So if you are passionate about something we can help you start a new Interest Group.

Monthly General Meetings are free and held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 2.00 pm at:
Hillstown Village Hall, 12 Nesbit Street, Bolsover S44 6LW
Most months we invite a speaker, to talk on interesting and varied subjects.
This is also an opportunity to pay for your trips and visits.
Have a tea and coffee with biscuits, and catch up with group leaders and friends.
Have a go on the raffle.
You can print off a membership form and take it to our monthly general meeting.

Provide support for all Groups and learning within Bolsover District u3a. Promote the benefits of joining Bolsover District u3a with regard to learning and participating in a variety of activity.
